Glynn 10' x 10' Lighted Cantilever Umbrella

This umbrella arrived today and my 16yr. old son assembled it within an hour. We ordered a red cantilever umbrella and it is orange. Not redish orange, but the same color orange as the cushions of our patio set. We are willing to settle with but we wanted red like the color of our other umbrella. We paid shipping so it would arrive before the 4th, which it did, but now we need it for the 4th, so we'll keep it and take the refund of $134. The person who took my call was not at all surprised that this happened. Writing this review to make the buyer aware that they may not get the color they order! Good Luck! On another note, before ordering, Wayfair suggested an umbrella cover. Thankfully I declined and the umbrella came with a cover. The base is very solid but the cantilever moved disturbingly easy with a slight breeze. Will have to make sure to keep it shut when not in use for fear of it bending. I like the solar feature which lit up right away without a charge. Overall, I like the look of the umbrella, it's easy to assemble, the crank mechanism opens and closes easily and adjusts easily for varying positions to block direct sunlight, just wish it was red.

The holes on the base didn’t align properly so the plastic cover did not fit. The cover hides the screws. Also, the umbrella is now crooked because the holes don’t align. I called Wayfair, and there are no replacement parts for it, and the umbrella is now back ordered so to get a new one, I’ll have to wait several weeks. I’m very frustrated.

Works well. Easy to use. Assembly was simple. Lights feature is nice and we love having such a large area of our deck covered.

If I could give this no stars, I would. We had it for 1 season (maybe opened a total of 20 times). We put away for the winter and recently brought out as the weather is getting warmer. The base broke and won’t lock in place and one of the arms broke. The lighting never worked. Even when new. With the base full of sand, it still gets blown over easily. Do not buy this. Absolutely not worth the price.

We love it and it’s so easy to use and adjust!
