Solar Blanket for Rectangular In-Ground Pools - Clear

This is great. Easy for my Grandson to put together. It will allow us to swim earlier in the season and longer in the fall.

I am being harsh here. in the end, this product does save water and help insulate the water to keep it warm. But in SoCal, we MAYBE get 2 seasons out of these before they brittle, tear and disintegrate. who the heck gets 6yrs out of these things?

doesn't heat my pool as much as I had hoped. do yourself a favor if your pool is 20x40 and get a reel.

We have had this blanket on the pool for about 3 months now. It's seems to be holding up well. I'll give a follow up in the spring when we take it off to see how it fared over the winter. Pros: Price Cons: None so far

Good cover but it won't last many years like I thought.

Have a good number of trees near the pool and the this thicker than normal cover has resisted tears from falling twigs and branches better. Clear cover heats better than the blue or black ones, since it allows more penetration of the rays. Didn't notice any significantly greater loss through evaporation.

I live in the Northeast and bought this cover earlier this summer. It's basically glorified Bubble Cushion but definitely helps add and retain heat in the pool. It might only be a couple degrees but it made a difference. We had to trim ours to size which was easy with scissors. We didn't get any cracks or tears this season. Hopefully it holds up in storage this winter.

It's much thicker than cheap ones I've tried. Hopefully it will last longer than they did.
