I first saw this item somewhere else and thinking it was a good idea/method for cooking a turkey, I ordered it it from Wayfair because of the terrific cost savings compared to all others on a search. The customer service I experienced was A+. The order arrived quickly. I will be using this for the 1st time for Thanksgiving. I can let you know later how it turns out~! I expect it to become my favorite way to cook a turkey. I would think that you could even roast a chicken on it.

very surprised this apparatus did what it said it would do. the moistest and juiciest breast I've had without deep-frying, cooking in a bag, or spatchcocking. the skin is very crispy, but less so on the underside/breast. that's okay especially if you prefer moist meat vs. crispy skin. brushed a liberal amount of semi-melted butter all over the skin. 14 lb unstuffed turkey. manual says 15 min/lb (3hr30min) at 375 degrees F. website says 13 min/lb at 350-375. I baked mine for 30 min at 375 and 2hr 15 min at 350; 2hr 45 min total. Turkey leg was 170 degrees which is above the recommended 165.
