One shelf came dented right out of the box, which sucks because its brand new. That and the stickers they put on the shelves are goo gone proof. So thats disappointing. Thankfully it works fine. The hibachi is smaller than I expected but good enough to grill mushrooms and onions. The prep space is nice and I like that the top isnt bulky. Forget about Wayfair helping with issues with this grill. They refer you to the manufacture and you have to jump through hoops to contact anyone. I gave up, and just decided to deal with the blemishes.

I love this grill because it has both grill and griddle. My husband wanted a griddle and I wanted a grill for our Sundays cook outs so I told him that I was gonna look for one that had both and I found it here. The table on the back is very convenient to put the food while cooking. He loved it.

Grill is very nice and HUGE counter space. That said, Charbroil, even though providing additional pieces, still has not solved the roller issue with its cover. Even with new rollers the cover comes off track unless top is opened very slowly. Other two issues are lack of a fixed thermostat (they give you a portable one to put on the grill, probably because all the grilling is with cover open so difficult to get a true temp. Last issue is battery operated starter button. They supplied dead batteries that had to be replaced during the build. Also, battery compartment not located in the most convenient location given that they will have to be replaced several times during the life of the grill. Finally, all the complaints about the stickers leaving ‘permanent’ marks on the stainless steel is not true. Use some Bar Keeper’s Friend, water and a paper towel and it will all come off easily.

A few parts had dents as I assembled the grill. But overall, it’s a good grill. The back counter is a practical feature.

The griddle area is a bit small but other than that it’s a great grill.
