This chair is very comfortable and a delight. Assembly really requires prior experience with schematics and understanding basic aspects of hardware. However, as the pics show, the upper/seat section is out of alignment with the lower/base portion; it's pushed to one side. That results in the upper frame knocking against the rear black glide "dog bone" part. I don't understand what would cause this skewing. I kept all fasteners not-tight until everything was assembled. Fortunately the knocking only occurs if I glide far enough forward, which is actually beyond my typical glide length. But I have to take a star away because of this.. Bart. Boulder, CO. First, a huge shout out to Wayfair customer service!! My original package was “lost” in transit with FedEx. I had to wait a week (to make sure it didn’t scan somewhere) but Wayfair sent a replacement and it arrived within three days. It arrived without any damage and all the pieces were present. It took me an hour (on my own and not hustling) to put it together with the provided tools. I’d say SUPER easy, given the heft of the thing. This thing is and the quality is fantastic. I read reviews prior to purchase and some mentioned a subpar cushion. I will admit that the part where it zips together in the dip is thin, but otherwise I find it extra comfy! I did order a few pillows ahead of time, so I have lots of extra padding. The rocker portion is a bit jerky, but not terrible. I honestly bought it to sit “long ways” and curled up in like a nest for reading books on my porch, so the rocking wasn’t a priority. Overall, I highly recommend this chair. Love this chair. It’s a bit pricey but I wanted to try one to check quality and construction once put together. We were pleasantly impressed by the solid wood teak. It is a really well built chair, very stout & heavy. Just what I wanted to start our slow collection of this same style. It’s a modern scandi-style but feels like you’ve owned it for a long time. The clean & simple lines will blend in nicely with our back patio bird bath & flower garden. We got the lighter cushions as the gray wasn’t available, but they look nice & are firm to keep from turning mushy when you sit. Plus the cushions keep the seating a little higher then many other styles you kind of fall into when you sit. I have issues with getting out of low slung chairs, & no one wants to feel like they are sitting on1/2 cushion to be high enough to get out easily. Over all I recommend this to anyone that is willing to slowly build up your patio collection with quality seating. We’re already looking for our next chair to purchase in a few months.. Dawn.
