the wood finish is gorgeous, almost feels too nice to be out in the weather. The instructions were a bit hard to follow and we had to remove the legs and redo twice. It was not easy, so if you are not good with tools and many screws, washers, nuts and bolts, you may want to get a table from a big box store or super expensive table from a patio store.. Jean. Only negatives, and not worth subtracting stars for, are tedious assembly and the lack of any protective material on the bottom of the legs. Not a deal breaker for me because I have it sitting on a rug. Assembly instructions are straightforward, just tedious. These Johnnie Concrete Side Tables are really cool looking - and very interesting! They are heavy but not too heavy. They will stay put in windy weather. The finish on them is a deep charcoal gray/black. Not a heavy dark black - so they will go with many different styles and colors of outdoor (and indoor if desired) furniture.
