Like many others said, the umbrella hole won’t fit a standard pole but not because of the cut out but the weave is put over it , at least on this one . The entire weave is very loose and very afraid it won’t last , this one seems poorly made all around . The top of the stand , due to such loose weave , isn’t stable enough for a drink . Any thing with some weigh caused it to be un-secured. My own umbrella weight would fit if the weave didn’t cover the hole but won’t be taking the chance on another one . Didn’t see the country of origin prior but would rather try to have a product manufactured in the US , this one is not even close. Also leaned that you can’t return this product without the manufacturer weighing in on it since its defect and the defect is handled by the end user and manufacturer and not the seller , so don’t expect help from the seller on this !!

Just what I needed for my deck. I love sitting out there but the sun was blazing. I had an umbrella so I just needed a small table that would hold it. Perfect size. Delivery was quick and the price was right.

This table has held up great over a few winters and summers outside on my open patio. It’s will hold up a small umbrella but needs a sturdy steel umbrella stand underneath. It’s very handy and easy to move around. I like the shelf underneath.
