Purchased the Riverwood style. Painted them but have not installed yet. They arrived primed, but primer is tacky…sticky. I have had to put 2 heavy coats of paint on them. Still painting…waiting for paint coats to dry and not be sticky either. Only concern is the shutters are not as sturdy as I expected (why the 4 stars) and hoping during installation they will not be damaged. They are very unique with wood-like appearance…yet very light weight! I like that!

I like the look of the shutters, they were painted to match my front door, and I like the way they turned out. They replaced older wooden shutters that had to be removed.

They were difficult to get stain to dry, but they look great now! We attached them with a nail gun to the house because they are like styrofoam. They have lasted through a wicked wind and rain storm. Everyone thinks they are real wood.
