Crawfordsville Handmade Urn Planter

Its beautiful, but its much smaller than anticipated. Its entirely my fault for jot reading description carefully, but I just want to emphasize its small and has no drainage hole - all info was there from the start, so I have no complaints

It’s a lot smaller then one thinks. I knew it was going to be on the smaller side, but wow.

These planters are of SUCH quality, and are very heavy (won’t fall down in a storm). They feellook much more like stone or concrete than metal, and look beautifully antique. They are relatively small, so just keep that in mind. I dropped a 4-inch already potted plant inside it fits hides the plastic plant pot, but as you’ll see in the second photo, a 4-inch plant is a teeny bit too small so it falls below the planter’s rim, so you could do a 4 12 inch pot or maybe even 5, but not sure. I just plan to fill in the extra space on the bottom with gravel to raise the plant’s rim perfectly up to the planter’s rim. Also, there is no drainage hole in the planter it doesn’t look like you could drill one well through several inches without crumblingruining it. Hence why I put an already potted plant inside the planter... the plant will sit on top of the gravel above the planter bottom, so the water drains from the plant into the planter then you just remove the plant pot turn the planter over pour out the excess water put the plant back in. Yes, a little bit of a painannoying, but well worth it when you see how beautiful sturdy these are! I get compliments from basically anyone who sees them.)

Gorgeous small urn. Very heavy and solid. Shipped perfectly. I look forward to many years of use. Loved it.
