I cant really open it because it is a gift for my son who is an avid Outdoorsman but Im sure hell love it. The quality should be very good and it is made in the USA. He has a little cottage on the river with a nice deck out front and boat dock so I thought the deck Mount would be perfect for him.

This weathervane is exactly as pictured and good quality. We chose the garden mount and it looks awesome in our backyard. When it arrived, and we looked at the instructions, I realized you could also order a rain gauge that sat on the pole under the N, S, E, W. I have now ordered that and we are waiting on it to arrive. This is actually a functional and attractive yard decoration! Shipping was also quick.
