I bought these chairs and they are far less solid or sturdy than I expected for this price. Many of the pilot holes were drilled too large, so that the screws were not able to tighten in assembly. Not hard to put together but I’m returning it which is also proving to be a pain. I’m currently waiting 2 days for an email from the mfr. and have to find a box.

Love, love, love.! However these do require complete piece by piece assembly. Not difficult just time consuming! These are also able to be stained or painted any color. The finish is extremely smooth. finish
