This is a very unstable Hammock , Very difficult to get on and off of as it wants to tip and flip over. I have owned other hammocks in the past and did not have this issue. I would not buy it again and would not recommend it . I would return it if it wasn't so big. The quality is just adequate.

What an over-priced piece of faux quality this hammock is. The stand is “fine” but as others have noted…the finish is thin, the construction is not completely aligned and it arrived with “dings” even though the packaging was intact. The hammock itself is the real disappointment. It feels like cheap polyester lingerie and it stretches in ways a brand new hammock could not. Any adult that weighs over 120 pounds is basically on the ground in this hammock. We did an experiment with various people in the family. I immediately ordered a quality hammock minutes later. Don’t do it.

Purchased the Darcia Double Hammock with Stand by Highland Dunes my wife for Christmas however just assembled due to winter weather. The quality of the hammock is poor using cheap wood which arrived marred and chipped. While the holes line up if you lay them one on top of the other, the makers obviously failed to take into account the bow or angle of the cross beams or feet when they drilled the holes causing the holes not to align during assembly (like trying to punch a bolt through a curved hole...doesn't work. As a result once through, the feet do not lay flat on the ground but one side lifts as if bowed. The hammock that comes with the stand is nice soft cotton (80%). I am average weight of 190lbs, once assembled, when you lay down the hammock sinks all the way to the stand...tightened the hammock until it was literally straight across and once on within a minute, the cotton cords stretched and I sank again to the bottom resting on the wood. Since I purchased so long ago I realize there is no sending back and while this hammock was not the most expensive ($263.00), one would expect it to be in decent shape, lay flat and actually work. I do NOT recommend this product. It doesn't matter if the price was 263. 2,063. or 63.00, money wasted if the product doesn't work. I will look elsewhere for quality "American made" furniture. No pictures uploaded since every photo failed after multiple attempts.
