They’re not metal, bend easily, and the top support cracked after one strong wind. We have to tear the bottom caps off and place them over metal stakes, otherwise there’s no way of keeping them perfectly straight and supported.

Lovely arch. Will be perfect when my plants crawl up. Bougainvillea, bitter gourd and bottle gourd should make this space verdant. Next I’ll get a table and chairs for a perfect shaded setting.

The trellis is much flimsier than I expected based on the photos and description. The metal feels lightweight and the whole structure lacks the sturdiness I was hoping for in something meant to support climbing plants. Once assembled, it feels unstable and I’m concerned it won’t hold up well outdoors, especially with heavier vines or wind. Unfortunately, this was disappointing and not what I expected for the price.
