18" H x 18"W Decorative Metal Garden Fence, 5 Panels, 7.5 ft Total Length, Landscape Border for Flower Beds, Trees & Animal Barriers (Set of 5)

I bought these to keep peopledogs out of a long side yard. They are sturdy and go into the ground easily. They are tall enough so that it will be difficult to step over- which was my goal.

Perfect to keep the bunnies away from my roses!

There is nothing that organizes a garden like a traditional black metal border. This one is 18 inches by 18 inches per section and comes in a set of 5 sections – so, 90 inches long. The section from ground level down – the part you push into the ground – seems generous compared to some I have checked out. If you want the convenience of setting up and moving this border at will (“no dig installation”), as well as stability, the posts that go into the ground need to be long and unbendable, as these are. Each section of border fence should also attach tightly to adjoining sections, and these do, so this will add strength and prevent toppling. This metal fence is advertised as being treated to prevent rust and corrosion. It has been our experience that decorative fencing of this type can last and look good for decades. Although we cannot yet speak to this particular one it would be fair to say it looks well-made. The design is a simple one – a series of curved bars --that seems to fit well with anything from antique to modern garden design. At just under 50 dollars for 5 sections, the price seems reasonable. We are using our fencing in an area where bunches of perennials tend to fall onto the sidewalk and block the path. The border fence helps keep the path clear and attractive.

While these seem like great material, the leg of each panel arrived bent. I believe this most likely happened in shipping, so I’m taking off 1 star for poor packaging. I will add more pictures once up in the garden. Looking forward to seeing these, instead of the cheap green ones, protecting my plants!

I was really surprised by how thick and sturdy these are. So much easier to push into the red clay soil and they easily attach to one another if you need a longer length. Very nice quality, would highly recommend
