My order arrived quickly and everything seems to be in order. The instructions are not very detailed so you probably want to be a little mechanically inclined. If I was 40 I could probably have it up in a few hours, but I’m not as quick as I used to be so it might take me a couple days. It seems to be heavy duty and reinforced on the legs, I think it will do just fine here with our fairly modest weather I would say I’m very pleased with it so far.. Cindy. Roseburg Oregon. This small Pergola is exactly what I was looking for to keep me dry while grilling. The instructions were easy to follow and the finished product is solid IF fastened to an object like a house. However, it would not be good as a freestanding structure, even if each post was securely fastened down. There are a number of reasons for this but the two piece support posts and panel brackets that attach the front and back sections do not provide a rigid enough structure. That said, I drilled the top of each rear post and used 5/16 x 3.5" GRK fasteners into the side of the house (see photo) as the "L" brackets it comes with were not long enough compensate for the siding.
