I chose this umbrella because we’re officially “pool poor” after sinking money into a swimming pool to help survive 110 degree summers. This particular one was less than half the cost of other umbrellas on Wayfair that had the same pattern so I figured why not
Our first impressions are positive. It seems to be nicely constructed and the pole, while hollow, seems to be pretty sturdy. It’s already survived one windstorm with no bending or breaks.
Whether it will last more than one summer remains to be seen but even if it only makes it to the end of the year, it will have been worth the money we paid for it.
