I was very pleased with the size and appearance of the two vases exactly what I needed. However, the problem was separating the vases once I removed them from the very sturdy box. They shipped stacked together inside the box and wrapped in plastic, which was probably cost effective, but very impractical from a customers perspective. Long story short, I sprayed WD-40 along the rim and plastic, waited 5 mins, lightly tapped along the rim with a hamper, then pulled on the plastic, and they came a part easily at that point. I take care of entryway planters at our little church. The ones I have had there for six years had come apart and were leaking at the bottom. While I have not yet brought this to Church or put potting mix in or planted it yet still chilly at night in Minnesota, looking at the construction of this one I am very highly satisfied. I am OBSESSED with these! I've loved window boxes since living in Germany in the 1990s but always had a hard time finding ones to fit my deck railings.
