Comfortable to walk on but about two inches too long so I’ll have to cut it

I bought this 2' x 8' rug pad to try to get my area rug to stop inching it's way across my living room carpet. I received it in the time specified and it was as described on the web site. When I opened it there was no odor coming from the pad. I didn't have to cut it which was nice. After vacuuming both carpets I placed the pad between the carpet and the area rug. I had to look up how to put the pad - felt side down toward the carpet and rubber side against the area rug. A quick set-up sheet would have saved me some time and effort. As for the area rug moving, it has slowed down but still moves. I'm hoping as the pad grips the carpet more, my area rug will stay where it's supposed to. Overall, I'm okay with the purchase.

Most definitely the nicest rug pad I've ever owned. I'm used to using the waffle type which do the job but this is over the top. You choose which way you want to use it. Since I'm using it on hardwood floor. I have the rubber side down and the felt side up. It provides a lot of cushioning and there's no way it's going to move. Highly recommend!
