I thought there was a panel for the back, but no. I have it between chairs in the living room not against a wall. However It does look good with the shelf in the back. I can put a decorative figurine. Good instructions for assembly.

Solid end table. Took about 1.5-2hours to build. Be careful screwing in the bolts and locking them. Directions are clear and detailed.

I bought a set of these end tables and I love them. They are so much more than I thought. Definitely recommend.

I did not realize that these 2 items were particle board covered in a thin layer of veneer. Once my son began assembly of just the drawer, large sections of the particle board began breaking apart! My son stopped the assembly as the drawer could not be fixed. assembled

The man who assembled the End table with storage and charging station did an excellent job job. Love this end table !
