I did not read the size very well, put it together and it is to long and not abe to adjust smaller to fit. was my error

Do not buy. Looks awful. Not as described. Plastics ends are cheap and flimsy. This rod is not as heavy as another I found. The screw in option does not look nice. I will be returning this

This is not a tension rod in the sense that it has coils you press together to allow it to spring to the right length and snuggly fit your shower, it has pieces you put together to meet specific lengths and if your area is not one of those lengths then this will not work. The cost to return ship it was more than I paid for it so I ended up giving it away. Very dissapointed.
