It’s perfect! We are using it for our recycling bin. Our kitchen already has a built in trash can, but not enough room for another bin, so this is perfect. We filled the drawer with our cloth napkins and put paper napkins, coasters, and our saltpepper shakers on top. I’m going to get a colorful placemat to put under the stuff on top to add some color!!

Cheap ‘wood’ parts and easily broke as I tried to assemble it. I ordered replacement parts and got a box of broken materials. My original order was in January and replacement parts arrived soon after so my fault for waiting so long and now I have two boxes of unworkable materials to build it. First photo shows the original box with piece that ripped off and second photo was the replacement parts which is more broken than my original broken piece. Boo! And I typically feel like a pro putting together furniture. Not with this product.

We've had ours for a couple of years, and they are great! However, I want to point out a caution regarding the hinges on the bottom that attach the tilting-out door. They are secured by only two skinny 1/2-inch screws per hinge. After about six months of use, both tilting-out doors came loose. Since these doors are in our kitchen, they receive a lot of use. To fix the issue, I drilled an additional hole in each hinge and used slightly thicker pan-head cabinet screws (#10, 1/2-inch). The thickness of the screws makes a difference because the ones that come with the unit are too thin, and since the material isn't real wood, it weakens over time. I am still marking it 5 stars because it works really well for us. Fortunately, it has now been 1.5 years since I upgraded the screws, and we haven't had any issues since then.
