Showed up late. It was in one box. No assembly required. Just pull off the plastic wrap. It is very soft and comfortable. The color is a deep green. I thought I ordered the gray but oh well. The pillows and back cushion need more padding but I can add that. I bought this for my son’s room and he loves it so it has served its purpose well. It will be easy to clean and a weekly vacuum should keep it in nice shape. I think this is great for a kids room or a game room. I don’t think this is for a permanent sofa or chaise situation. I would recommend this chaise.

Arrived compact and was ready for use right away after unboxing! Fits my husband and I (and the cat) very comfortably. The material is soft and the cushion insert is the right amount of firm.
