Love the concept, but all of the metal parts have rusted, and the hinges broke off the first day I had it. The latch has rusted so bad that I can't latch it closed anymore.

This is a great box that was better then I expected, I don't have a Tortoises and used this box to make a media box for my outdoor projector and speakers. It is weather proof and not heavy at all so adding another 20 pounds is nothing.

The Archie and Oscar Camborne ECOFLEX® Tortoise House – Weather-Resistant Terrarium is made with ECOFLEX®, a proprietary composite blend of recycled polymers and reclaimed wood fibre byproducts. ECOFLEX® is odour, moisture, and stain resistant which makes it perfect for indoor and outdoor use. ECOFLEX® products are easy to clean, just wipe down with a damp cloth or give a quick rinse with the garden hose and clean-up is done. This tortoise house features a hinged lid and a private, weather-resistant sleeping area with a solid roof panel and a large, NeveRust® stainless steel mesh screen over the living space so your tortoise can bask the day away in the sun.
