My poor kitties are so disappointed. This thing was a complete airball. I have bought plenty of garbage online, but this hammock was one of the worst. The directions are gibberish and mislabel the different screws. The screw they give you don’t fit. One of the poles split in two places when I finally did get a screw in. I mean, these are two BIG cracks. Even if this thing did fit in my window, which it doesn’t, it is not sturdy enough for my 2 lb kittens. I ended up just throwing it away. Whomp whomp.

I had higher hopes for this cat bed. I liked the look and that it didn’t need to be anchored (screwed in) to the wall or suctioned to glass, but it just didn’t work on my window. Firstly, the picture instructions used the wrong item letters, so I just went by the picture of the finished product. Then I discovered one of 4 bolt screws had a different head (Phillips vs hex) and was the wrong length. I had to buy a small pack at the hardware store to replace it. Despite adjusting the legs, there were still gaps between the legs and the wall and inside the window ledge. I tried using furniture foot pads to fill the gaps, which worked somewhat but the cat bed just didn’t feel sturdy enough for my 10lb cat. The fabric sagged and wasn’t taunt, creating a gap between the bed and the frame. However, the bed may work better for a kitten and on a traditional window sash ledge. I’ll be giving it to a friend to try.
