Received the stand on time, that's a good start. The material that this was made of appears to be hard compressed cardboard. While assembling the first few pieces, this was real flimsy and when trying to move it one of the assembled piece folded and tore out the fastening screws tearing the material they were screwed into. I poured super glue into the holes and reinstalled the fastening screws. Doesn't look very pretty. There was a warning label on the stand top which was very difficult to get off. We normally use mineral spirits to remove label glue remaining on the surface but are afraid to use it because we don't know how it will react with the paint on the stand surface. After being completely assembled, it felt and looked like it could hold a 120 gallon tank. I planned on a 40 gallon tank so it may hold up with that. This is typical "Made In China" work, guess you get what you paid for.

This is incredibly sturdy. I have a ball python in a 4x2x2. It is perfect for storing everything underneath. I occassionally swap out different hides to keep her enclosure interesting for her. So I have room in the storage unit to keep those different things.
