Bought for an old cat and the spacing of the tiers is just right. She can safely climb to look out the window.

Easiest cat stand to put together, ever! Three large pedestals, great for old, overweight, or in my case, physically challenged cats. The round base is sturdy and allows me to face it however I want.

Not as much padding as I thought it would have.

This is meant for any cat, especiallt thos yhat are physically comprimised and unable to use those larger cat perches. Along with the carpeted stairs, I purchased this for my adopted cat who had a leg amputated. She can easily climd on this to enjoy being up high to look out the window and enjoy birdwatching! The height of the platforms are lower from one to the next than standard perches. We need more like these in different styles and greater height...please1 Pros: Easy assembly...extremely easy!
