I do like the scratching post, however, it's not as stable as I would like, but my cats seem to enjoy it. September 30, 2023 In my humble opinion, this cat tree was not worth the money spent. My cats certainly enjoyed the scratching part, but refused to lay on it. They scratched through the post, causing it to list at about a 30 degree angle. It was unsafe and I should have returned it. Never through a box away.
