Catio Outdoor Cat Enclosures

Very pleased with this catio. We dreaded assembly but turns out some reviewers were perhaps less handy than my spouse. You do need tools and do need to make a few holes. Spouse built it in less than 5 hours which I think was the time I saw stated by others; I ended up not needing to help at all. Do sort out all the parts and hardware up front so you know what each item is. The wheels are durable/sturdy. Initially the cedar wood smell might turn off your pet but once it aired out a few days after build the smell is goes away; our cats' explored and now lay inside (on pet rugs). They can now "join in" for outdoor dining while preventing toxic plant chewing, bird casualties, fleas, etc... This is a pretty cool enclosure and can be set up against an open window but be sure your windows align with the openings. Can't comment on long term durability yet but it seems to be a well designed product.

Cat approves. He can hang out on his catio while I vacumn clean the house. Also I work from home so it’s a good refuge to keep him from jumping on my keyboard- it’s a win win for both our sanity’s

Unsafe for cats, Fell apart after one year. The boards are very thin and held together with staples that fall apart after a year. It started falling apart when my cats were inside and luckily I noticed otherwise they probably would have hurt themself on a staple. For the amount of money I spent on this Catio i am very very disappointed. This product should not be sold since it is not safe.

I love this Catio! It’s perfect for my condo balcony. It’s compact while still being roomy inside. I assembled it by myself over a couple days. It probably took 3 hours total. Be aware that it requires you to drill some holes. Most are pre-drilled but instructions call for customer to drill holes on some of the parts. Also be aware that you have to have the pieces facing the right way because the flooring requires these wood attached pieces to rest onto and I had one facing on the outside and had to use screws to hold the flooring in because I didn’t want to take it all apart. My cats love it and it looks really nice! I left one half of the middle shelf out so the cats have more room to jump up to the top level. It has wheels so I can easily move it around. I put it up against my partially open sliding door with the little catio door raised so they can go in on their own and not feel like they are being put in a cage. Highly recommend!!

It’s cute but came with some chips/splitting and the wood is quite soft. I’m not sure how well it will actually hold up, but I’ve got it raised on some concrete blocks (you do not want this wood in any sort of contact with the ground and I do don’t want wheels) and my kitty seems happy with it.
