This pet pen can be used as a round playpen or it can be set up in a straight line to work as a fence. I use it as a fence to separate my chickens from the rest of my yard. It’s very sturdy and the quality is great. It has a clear sealant to avoid rust and the little gate makes crossing the fence super convenient.

The pen came in segments that was easy to assemble with metal stakes that to anchored it together and in place into the ground (for stability). Not sure how this would work inside as a dog could just push it around. I choose to make a straight line to keep my dog out of my garden and it works perfectly. The pen has a nice black finish with plastic feet that may give it grip. I like the arched corner and the double latch makes it secure (but difficult to open!) It works well for my use but would be too small for a dog to use… maybe better for a rabbit.

This is the 2nd type of gateenclosure I have gotten and this one is not as sturdy as the other brand. It still works fine to keep my chickens out of a newly planted area. My main complaint is about the door it has a latch at the top and a latch at the bottom. You must lean down and push the latches up at the same time and pull out to open it. Not convenient at all. Would work great as a baby proofing gate I suppose LOL
