I purchased this as a travel cage for my Yellow Nape Amazon. I took a chance on the size since I couldn't find any reviews mentioning a larger parrot. The instructions just show a photo of the pieces and how they go together. It wasn't too difficult but needed to be tightened up at the joins. Anyone having a parrot knows how quickly they can learn to open the doors and food spaces. This cage has "pins" holding in the food dishes. Word to the wise, remember to purchase locks to secure the doors! For the price, this is a well constructed cage designed more for conures, cockateils and parakeets. It will for work for my Yellow Nape but only for travel. The only negative I can think of is the wooden dowel perches are not long enough and can easily fall off.
