At first glance, this may look like an elegant yet standard metal-framed bookcase. However, your cats will quickly realize the Metropolitan cat condo was designed with them in mind. Your cat will be gazing upon you from one of the four machine-washable plush cushions or sinking its claws into the sisal scratchpad. All platform cushion coverings are removable and washable while the sisal scratchpad is replaceable if worn. When they are not peering down at you from above, your cats can be entertained with a hanging toy (sold separately) attached through any one of the platform's pre-drilled holes. A platform to accommodate a 1-pint cat bowl can be purchased separately to give a bit of distance between cats and those who compete with them on the ground for their meals.
