We ordered the white unit for the large dog crate. The first delivery by Fed Ex arrived damaged and had to be re-ordered. The customer service representative said it would be to us by 6/26, it did not arrive until 6/30. Also the measurements of this unit are incorrect on the website. I called to report it but appears to still not be correct. The dog beds that we bought for it to meet the sizing, do not fit as the interior measurements are still off. The gate doors are bulging out in a couple of places which causes the doors to scrape when they slide from one end to the other, would prefer to have the corrected or doors replaced, if possible. I really love this piece, it is overall very sturdy and its beautiful. My only complaint is the putting the backing on. I took my time building everything to ensure everything was built to the best it could be. The backing punctured through the wood in spots where it was too thin. I really do love everything about this crate (so far). That is to say, I love the way it looks. I spent days looking at different furniture crates and had an aha moment when I found this one online. It was the perfect vibe for the aesthetic of my home. When it arrived I unpacked everything and inventoried all of the parts. Check. Then I read through the directions and it said it would take two people an hour to put it together. Uncheck. My dad and mom both came over to help. My dad is a carpenter and builder. It took us five hours and a lot of curse words to put it together. Was it worth it? At the time, no. But now that it's together, I'm glad we persevered. It really is a nice, sturdy piece. As for functionality? We'll see. I'm bringing an eight-week-old puppy home in a few weeks and imagine things will be pretty mild at first. The real test will be in a few months to see if the gates hold up. They aren't not sturdy, but they're also not affirmingly solid.
