After not having a kitten/cat for awhile, we got our little boy Frasier. Even though we have had cats before, this was our first cat tree. We like the fact that it didn’t have a lot of carpet on it. We thought we would be able to stain the wood darker to better match the colors where it was going. We stained the wood before we put it together and put on a spray coat of polyurethane. It looks very nice and Frasier loves to sit on the top piece to watch the birds out the window. He has sat on all three platforms but uses the top one the most. Haven’t noticed if he used the scratching post but we do have a separate one that is taller than this integrated one. Frasier does like the little wall around part of the top platform as he will rest his head there or stick his legs over it. We are very happy with this unique looking cat tree.. Roxetta.
