My only take on this item is the bottom hole to screw-in to the wall that leaves you just a little room to work with. Beside that, it's a nice item and utilitarian.

Bought it for the exact dimensions I needed but arrived longer than stated. That said, I cut it down and it fit, seems solid. The gold paint job is really fake looking but as it is up high, I can live with it.

The shelf and hanger look like how they do in the picture. The hanger rod itself looks a little little bit cheap with the gold paint on black, but it’s not horrible. The real issue is the hardware that’s included. They only provide Molly bolts. Molly bolts are fine but they need to be specific to your drywall. These Molly bolts were not right for my drywall. I don’t have weird drywall either, it’s a normal length. It’s just not as thick as what these volleyball bolts are made for. And what if I wanted to drill into studs? There was a no hardware provided for that. So if you are going to buy this, just know that you might need to go out and buy your own hardware. On top of all that, the pilot holes they made for drilling the wall hanging support into the board itself were not measured, right, so the tiny screws ended up being somewhat angled. Luckily, you don’t have to look at those really, but it’s another instance of shoddy craftsmanship. I know this is Wayfair, so I’m not super surprised, but I wish that it had been different. I’m not going to return it because I don’t wanna mess with the process of returning right now, but the shelf is leaning slightly out from the wall on one side because of the Molly bolt issue. The directions are also very poor.

I have an old closet in a bedroom with unusual dimensions and it was difficult to find anything that would fit inside without designing something custom, so I was excited to find this clothing rack. In person, it looks cheap, because it is. The “brass” is poorly painted metal and I didn’t trust the included anchor screws so I switched them out with something more reliable. The wood is also stained poorly, but you won’t see it high up in a closet. Overall this works fine for a guest bedroom, but if you’re looking for something sturdy, it won’t hold up to heavy weight or abuse.

My shelf came without the garment hanger rod. That is being remedied with a replacement part, but I have to wait a week for it to even ship. Of larger concern is that my shelf does not resemble the shelf in the photo. It is a different color with a huge grain that looks really cheap. I am keeping it because it will serve it's purpose, but I am going to paint the shelf. Update to add that I was sent a replacement promptly and am pleased with the end result. I still docked a star because the shelf is not at all like the one pictured online. I wound up painting it so it works.
