Juba Steel Fireplace Tongs Fireplace Tool

Item was a good length but the quality is poor! I've left it out in my fire pit couple of times it's already RUSTING!! It definitely isn't STEEL!!

Upon receiving what i expected to be a larger package i opened up my fireplace grabbers to see that at the closed position they are small. At the fully extended position they get longer but I don't find then to be that sturdy at that length. I have a deep outdoor fireplace and these grabbers will not be able to pick up large logs.

I got these because the used fireplace tools that I bought was missing the tongs. When this arrived I was really surprised at how small the box was, but when I opened it I realized they were all folded. They stretch out nice and long, so they should get pretty far into the fireplace. However, they’re not very heavy so I don’t know how large or heavy of a log they can handle. I will update this if I have any problems using them on larger logs. 

We love to have fires and we have had several of these in years past and we are in need of a new one. This is the perfect gift for my husband as he is the one that tends to the fires at night. This will definitely get a lot of use
