This rug is stunning and has been a perfect addition to my media room/basement — though it would look equally great in a dining room, living room, or family room. Don't let the Wayfair images fool you; photos don't do justice to the intricate details and rich colors. You really need to see it in your own space to fully appreciate it. The rug is incredibly soft and lays completely flat right out of the box. We're considering adding a pad underneath for extra comfort when sitting on the floor and for added noise absorption in our media room — but that's purely a bonus, not a necessity. You will not be disappointed!
