This is a well made rug but does have a lot of shedding and the lines are more prominent in person. Definitely more of a striped rug than a weave.

Beautiful, true black and pure white rug. The rug is thick and very cushioning feel to walk on. The pattern appears as a subtle stripe. The striping is muted enough that it doesn't scream at you as a striped rug. We use ours in our dining room and purchased the recommended rug pad. Love it!
