The mat is sturdy and doesn't slide around. It's black, but there is dirt on the mat in the pictures, so it looks lighter, it's thick and durable and looks nice on the porch. We had to convince the dog that it wasn't a chew toy, but it got dragged around the yard for a few minutes, and it held up great. No teeth marks were visible

Very good quality mat. Can use on its own but best with decorative inserts. Nice pop of color!

I got this to go with their inserts. Inserts fit perfectly. Mat is sturdy, attractive and should last for years.

Looking forward to having this sturdy, well made, rug on my front porch. Great for changing with the seasons or when inner mat is worn.
