Moldy. Got a refund though, from Wayfair and didn’t have to return it, so I gave it a second star, for excellent customer service.

This is a stunning rug. I bought the 8x11 size. The rug is prettier in person; the colors are beautiful. This is a higher pile and thick carpet. No glue odor or any smell. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rug received after delivery hassle, quality of the base of the rug is poor. Mounted on a very thin cotton fibre, was received with 2 creases that broke the cotton fibre which in turns loosen the wool... Make sure you check the base (the underneath) before purchasing a wool rug. Note: the fork placed on the rug pic, is for proportion purposes of the damage
