Catherine Oriental Indoor Rug

This rug is gorgeous and the muted colors are perfect. It’s soft to walk on and hope to enjoy it for many year’s. We couldn’t be more pleased.

Good news: The colors in the rug are lovely, and are true to the photos. The bad: The finish is so soft and velvety I question whether it would wear well. The fabric layer seems very thin on top of a door-mat like back. It doesn't seem that quality comes close to justifying the price tag.

Initially, the quality seemed high. It felt quite soft and plush. More so than the photos showed. (see below for how it has not aged well)... The base color was more pink than beige (the pictures looked more beige). It works in the room (living room), but it would likely be best in a bedroom. I wish It were a little more beige tawny and less plush texture ETA, after 9 months in an apartment building (where tenants walk on carpeted hallway floors before entering the apartment) it's showing it's wear, the silky pile is easily dirtied. We haven't tried scrubbing. I'd definitely keep this in a low traffic / no shoe area like a bedroom.

Wrong color very bright and vibrant very bright teal does not go w my decor at all.
