Wool Indoor Rug

Disappointed with this rug. The advertised 8’ x 10’ size is inaccurate — mine was about 4 inches short one way and 6 inches short the other, which is significant for a rug this size. Also, the color was not as represented online. What appeared to be an ivory with taupe undertones looks more like ivory with a green hue in person. Between the sizing discrepancy and misleading color, it did not meet expectations.

The CK rug is very beautiful, however, it isnt without its flaws. I love the design and because it’s beige and white, it’s much easier to match with furniture rather than if it were just one color. The rug is thick I typically have a rug pad but didn’t need one with this rug. For looks, color and durability, I’d give it a 55 star. The downsides to this rug should be considered. I’ve had this rug for a month now and it’s still sheds like crazy. When I first got it, i vacuumed 10 times filing up the vacuum and it’s like I haven’t made a dent. If you sit on the rug, even for 10 seconds, you’ll pick up a lot of fibers on your pants. My dog lays on it and it gets stuck to him too. I’d be embarrassed to have guests over and they sit on the rug and get lint all over. Additionally, the fiber is very prickly so it’ll poke through your leggings and be very annoying. I’m not sure if these issue of shedding will ever go away to be honest, and it’s the only rug I’ve ever owned where it was this bad. For this part, I’d give the rug 05 stars. It’s hard to say if I’d buy it again. It is quite beautiful and I don’t mind the vacuuming too much but if I had to recommend to a friend, I’d really warn them about the endless shedding of prickly fibers issue so they can decide for themselves.
