Kit Kemp x Annie Selke Safety Net Earth Handwoven Wool Rug

Foundational geometric rik-rack lines encapsulate atmospheric tonal hues that are interpreted through a unique sense of colour to create a presence in a room without overpowering it. Each colorway evokes the everchanging reflection of light on the ocean, as the colours shift according to season, and time of day. Kilim flatwoven wool rugs, inspired by the hand-knotted fishing nets flung over the sides of boats in the harbours of Barbados, were designed by Kit Kemp, co-owner and Creative Director of Firmdale Hotels, in collaboration with Annie Selke.
