This appears to be a normal ply rug in the ad, and if you read the description, but it is like velvet. It reflects light due to the velvet sheen so the color does not appear as rich as the photos. I bought the 4x6 for $300 and this rug looks like a cheap $25 rug. My rug also arrived with these weird ripple wrinkles all over it, like it was improperly stored. I am returning it and questioning buying from wayfair again. I've only had bad experiences. They need to do better at honestly representing their products.
