Color worked well with decor, so that is a plus. However, the rug had been so tightly rolled up, and apparently for an extended amount of time, over half of it wasn't laying flat after more than a week of laying flat on the floor. I eventually tried using a professional clothes steamer, and steamed all the bumps/folds from the back side. Each one had to be repeated a number of times, and took about an hour to do. I let it dry thoroughly, then turned it over and gave it a few more days to lie flat. The combination of steaming and giving it over 2 weeks of laying flat helped, but did not remove all of the bumps. Also, I was surprised that the label on the back of the rug read "Sample Brio". Why a sample? I would advise, if you are thinking of purchasing this rug, to think twice about doing so.
