Looks Nice, But Sheds Relentlessly — Avoid If You Want a Clean Home I wanted to love this rug. The pattern is beautiful and it looks great in my apartment — but the shedding is absolutely out of control and has made it nearly unusable. I’ve had this rug since January 20th and it has shed non-stop for over 2.5 months. I vacuum it every other day just to keep up, and every single time I fill an entire vacuum canister with dense gray wool fibers (see photos). This isn’t the normal “new rug break-in” shedding that goes away after a few weeks — it has not let up at all. I have severe allergies, and the constant cloud of loose wool fibers in my home has been directly disrupting my sleep and making daily life uncomfortable. For a rug marketed as a “performance” wool rug, this level of shedding is a serious quality defect. I’ve submitted a formal complaint to Wayfair customer service. I’d strongly caution anyone with allergies or sensitivities to stay away. If you do buy it, be prepared to vacuum constantly and deal with the aftermath. Pros: Nice pattern, soft feel initially Cons: Extreme and unrelenting shedding, not allergy-friendly, does not live up to “performance” marketing

Too much shedding otherwise nice rug

I like the rug regardless of this flaw- but I am disappointed in the color. Online the Teal color seemed like a perfect match for the walls in our nursery, but it is MUCH darker in person. We will make it work but a heads up if you are looking for a lighter mint color - this is almost a darker turquoise. The rug is very soft and will do the job it's intended for, just wish it was a bit lighter!

Good quality rug...looks great in our baby’s nursery!
