Oaklynn Oriental Indoor Rug

I didn’t expect this 80lb, $900 rug to arrive in a 3’ by 3’ box, but there it was on the front porch. I unboxed and unfolded the heavy carpet and spread it out flat on my living room floor (it’s actually going into the bedroom) and there were just a few long seams leftover from the folding. I’ll give it a few days to flatten out and then I’ll have to resort to using one of Wayfair’s ways of getting it straightened out. The rug is absolutely gorgeous, the colors are so much more vivid than the photos, it seems like it’s well constructed and it’s comfortable to walk on without a pad. I’ll be buying the larger size rug from the same manufacturer for my living room. That’s how nice this rug is…!

I love the pattern in this rug and the length. However, the description of the color "red" is used for the rug, as the main color. The yarn is striated colors of pinks, rusts, reds, along with different tints of those colors rendering a rust instead of a "red". It's still a keeper. It's very slippery on a wood floor and needs a rug gripper. The pile is thick and feels good under the feet. My cats have already rubbed all over it, so they approve!

Beautiful colors just as depicted. I did buy a rug pad to go under it and am glad that I did that.

Love this carpet. The carpet colours are beautiful and as shown on the website. It’s cushy underfoot. It’s both elegant and cozy.

Beautiful colors in this area rug design and good quality. Perfect in our front hallway. We love it.
