Looks just like the picture, color pretty true to the photo, a deep chocolate. This runner is inside the front door of my townhouse, will serve the purpose well. The only downside is that the door won’t go over the rug (rubber sealing in door bottom for draft protection gets in the way). Therefore it has to be placed a couple of feet in front of the door, defeating the purpose a bit. Oh, well.
