Update so while I have purchased safavieh rugs for 10 years ….this has actually berm different . It’s not shag as it says and it’s shedding extremely, all over my daughters’ clothes if they sit on it and I have to vacuum it several times a day ! I’m going to try to return this rug sadly . I’m so sad right now I can’t leave the zebra print Safavieh brand alone. I’ve literally been using this print of rug since about 2014 I think ….always makes a room pop! I can’t lie, I supposedly have the” shag” collection but this is not shag….still very nice.

Beautiful rug. It does shed but nothing my Dyson couldn’t deal with. Love the square 8x8 size.
