I ordered this door mat for the door by our pool with the idea that we may walk on it with bare feet. The smooth surface appears to be perfect for that and the colors are nice and bright. The only thing Im questioning is whether the insert will stay where it is because its just laying in there. Its not attached in any way to the mat itself and Texas is a windy state so there is a possibility of it blowing out. Otherwise I like the option to change it up with different designs. I consider this a good buy.

I love that these mats are interchangeable based on the season. I bought similar mats for the front door, and found out all are interchangeable. Well worth the money and saving on storage space for seasonal floor mats
