Ordered the 9x12. The pattern changed due to the large size, but we love it. Super soft, even without a rug pad. Very low "new carpet smell", not offensive in any way.

This rug is super soft. It feels great on my bare feet. It isn’t very thick, so I’d suggest getting a pad for underneath it. My robot vacuum gets stuck on it too.
